OUR FUTURE PLANS ON STUDYING ABROAD

Hello for the last time!!

We are here today to say goodbye to this blog in which we wanted to share with you our recent experience and our view about travelling, so what could be better to end this blog than telling you our future plans??? They obviously involve travelling and studying abroad, which is the actual title of the blog!
So, how should we start? Probably from our current situation. We’re almost 16 and we’re finishing our compulsory education in Murcia, Spain. When we finish it, we want to keep studying and preparing for university. I will take the humanistic path (Sara) and I want to study sciences (Flora). We aren’t not completely sure about the degree we’ll choose, but we are sure we want to go to university.
The point is which one? Or even better, where? We think we have said we love travelling a few times, so we imagine you suppose we want to go abroad during university. The problem is that the university is expensive enough on its own, to add it a trip, so we thought the best idea would be studying and travelling at the same time. This means studying abroad. For that we have to study a lot so that we can get a scholarship to go wherever we want. We have looked for some scholarship programmes, and we have found lots of them.
I (Flora) want to study medicine, and I have found that in Finland there are some scholarships to study medicine in a Finnish university. I know I’ll have to work hard, but I dream with studying abroad, and I think Finland would allow me to get a great qualification. However, if I don’t get the scholarship, I guess I’ll go to the UK or to the USA, because there are more scholarships and it’s more probable that I get one of them. Anyway, I’m positive about getting one of them and travelling really far.
In contrast, I’ve decided (Sara) I’ll try to get a scholarship to study in New Zealand, where speaking foreign languages, which is my passion, will be essential for me. I’m also very positive and I expect to get the scholarship, but if it doesn’t happen I can always go to the UK or the USA as Flora, where I’ll enjoy a lot the experience.
Well, this is the end of our story, past, present and future. We hope you have enjoyed reading us and it would be amazing that we’ve helped you clear your mind. If not, we always recommend you travel as much as you can and you never stop doing it, no matter how hard or frightening it is.
Thank you so much and we hope next time we write will be from another place of the world.
Bye bye!!!!
